For a simple, smoky and sexy eye makeup look on New Years Eve (or any night)… I used Black Tied from MAC and added the colour to the crease, then added a antique gold pigment to the inner corners… I used a crazy pink Girl About Town lipstick to make this New Years Makeup stand out!
Sooo, this video was taken on Christmas Eve and I wanted to try doing my makeup in the car while filming… This is how it turned out!!
During the holidays, not many of us have the “Time” to get fully ready… So this Christmas Eve, I looked like crap on the way to the mall so I decided to apply my makeup in the car while my boyfriend drove…
I started off curling my eyelashes and powdering on some bronzer with a Kabuki brush. I applied LUNA from MAC (cream colour base) to my cheekbones and nose then applied REFINED (mineral skinfinish) to my cheekbones as well to help the colour stay. then with a cream base on my eyelids called Rubenesque from MAC. Then I added a darker green (to be festive) on the outer corners of my eyes and my crease… and use the same green for your lower lashline applied with a flat angle brush… Also added a glitter eyeliner to my lower lashline… Apply LUNA cream colour on your brow bone… Then I applied a yellow to the inner corners and blended out (Bright Sunshine)…
Line your top lashline with Fluidline in Blacktrax from MAC with a flat angle brush. Add a pigment to your inner corner for extra shimmer… I used a cream blush and applied it with my fingers… I applied Cream Cup lipstick and Rags to Riches Lip Glass. Apply mascara. That took me less than 10 minutes!! Talk about a Rushed Holiday Makeup!!
This is the makeup I did on the latest photoshoot that I was lucky to be a part of… The shoot was based on Rihanna’s makeup from her Hard Music Video where she is dressed like an army girl with some smoky eyes and hot red lips with a little bit of dirt on her face.
I achieved this makeup look with Black pigment from MAC, Dubonnet red lipstick from MAC, and used the same black pigment for the look of dirt on her face. I smudged her Smolder black eyeliner with a smudger tool.
To get a teased, volumized, pompadour hair look without a plastic bumpit, all you need is a comb/brush, couple bobby pins, & a can of aerosol hairspray! Start at the crown of the head and gather together a small section of hair… (try measuring from the peak of your eyebrows.) Tease hair from the root to the middle of the section of hair. Continue this method until you reach the hairline on your forehead. The very front piece can be softly smoothed out so it doesn’t look messy, then you can pin it back making the pompadour as low or high as you desire. Spray lightly and you can tease the sides of the hair if you want it even more volumized.

If you’re looking to fill your stomach with some good old home cooked brownies/cookies/pastries or soups in Downtown Vancouver, then you will have to visit Yaya’s Cafe. It’s located on 1020 Howe Street and always has the yummiest smelling baked goods everyday when I walk by!! Everyone I work with is obsessed with her treats and all of her home cooked food, we have to eat something from there almost everyday!!

This smudged black eyeliner evening look is so easy and fast to achieve. All you need is your favorite black eyeliner (preferably and eye kohl for better smudging) and a smudging tool. Wear this look with a nude glossy lip.
A haul is when you buy a bunch of products and show them to people via the internet. It’s kind of like a “show and tell” for products. Usually you will give an easy description of what you bought, why you bought it, as well as a short review. This way the public can understand the pros & cons of the product that has been purchased. So hauls just basically assist new users to decide on what is worth buying or not buying.
It really helps to watch Hauls on Youtube if you’re wondering about a certain product or food, etc… Anything! This way you can be guided into the right direction or warned in advance about a horrible product!
I just got the Harajuku Lovers LOVE perfume by Gwen Stefani and I absolutely love the scent. I stood at the shop sniffing all 5 fragrances Love, Lil’ Angel, Music, Baby, & G… and fell in love with Love, in my opinion the best one by far. It had ylang ylang notes and a seducing sweet pink floral scent to it. I had to get it. They have the small 10 ml at the Shoppers Drug Mart right now on special for $32 and once they are gone, they are gone. I never use up a whole 50 ml or 100 ml of perfume so I thought this 10 ml would be just right. Especially perfect for travel or work since it fits right in my purse. The little art piece lid is shaped as the Harajuku girl herself, and it’s super “Kawaii” (cute, in Japanese)!
Beauty So Clean Cosmetic Sanitizer Mist is so fantastic if you need to disinfect your pressed powders, eyeshadows, blushes and bronzers between clients so you don’t transfer any harmful bacteria. I love this product, the little mist bottle fits right in my purse!
